Significant gaps persist in women\u2019s access to leadership positions, driven by cultural, structural, and unconscious bias barriers. The report also highlights that companies\u2019 stated commitments do not always translate into concrete results. Although positive changes were also identified, such as greater awareness of gender equity, increased participation of men in household tasks, and the adoption of more flexible work arrangements, these advances require concrete actions from companies to be consolidated. Overall, the analysis highlights both the regressive impacts of the pandemic on women\u2019s professional careers and opportunities to reconfigure work practices that promote gender women and men sharing similar ambitions to reach executive positions, the actual trajectory of women in Mexican organizations is marked by inequalities in opportunities and outcomes.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d8add14 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d8add14\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f63c2ba elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f63c2ba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">The study shows that women are systematically underrepresented at higher hierarchical levels and are less likely to be promoted than their male peers, even when aspiring to the same level of leadership. It also reveals persistent pay gaps and a proportional loss of female talent as one moves up the corporate structure, reducing diversity in senior management. We were able to document that these disparities not only limit equity but also represent a missed economic opportunity for companies and the economy, as greater inclusion of women could improve profitability and GDP growth.
